I recently stayed at a hotel for my granddaughter's wedding and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The hotel had stunning views and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the food was outstanding. I was particularly impressed with how attentive the staff were, always ready to assist whenever I needed support. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends, as I truly believe it offers a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hotel for any occasion.

I had a lovely weekend getaway at Ashdown Park. The room we stayed in was a suite and had stunning views of the grounds. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. The afternoon tea we had was delicious. Despite the busy spa, we were able to enjoy the pool in the evening. The grounds were perfect for a leisurely walk. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were great. I had a very nice stay at Ashdown Park and would recommend it.

Perfect position for the forest, good spa facilities, restaurant food was excellent
Not so much of a complaint as all tastes are different, but we found the hotel miles to quite for us, you felt your self crepping about. However over at the spa was a bit more relaxing and did at least have music. A long walk to the bedroom, thats our fault though, we should have stipulated a closer room, as we went midweek, we probably wouldnt have had a problem getting a better position room

The architecture and grounds were lovely. The bed was huge. The pool and spa treatments were relaxing. The food, when it arrived, was exquisite. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake. The reception rooms were large and comfortable with plenty of space and the flower arrangements were splendid. The staff were very polite and professional. Enjoyed the leisure facilities. A nice big log fire in reception was welcoming. Our suite was big and looked over the golf course.
Felt very lucky, no complaints at all.

Excellent Dining Experience. Lovely outdoor terrace to room where deer were grazing outside. Converted Priory so lots of history attached to function rooms, communal areas and bedrooms. Beautifully kept grounds, very attentive and accommodating staff.
No major gripes - some rooms are a long way from the reception and dining areas and the nature of the history of the hotel (former convent) means there are no lifts so people with disabilities may have to request specific ground floor rooms.

Upon our arrival on the bank holiday weekend, we were instantly overwhelmed by the charming character of this hotel. The location offered stunning views of the surrounding grounds and we were in heaven from the moment we stepped foot inside. Our room provided a cozy haven with comfortable furnishings, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service received throughout our stay was impeccable and the breakfast offered a delightful start to each day. The beautiful views of the landscaped gardens and the nearby lake only added to the overall charm of this place.
One minor setback was the muddy conditions on the walk to Llama Park. It would greatly benefit from being tarmaced and drained, as it was frustrating to have to turn back halfway due to the mud.

The appearance of the hotel and the grounds, as well as being in nice countryside
I didn't think the staff service was up to 4*. The reception check in was a bit amateur; slows to be served a drink in bar before dinner (in fact a later arrival got served first); when they bought the sole to carve offt the bone at the hotel they had to ask which one of us it was for - in the best restaurants they would have known who'd ordered it without asking. Gym slightly disappointing.

A fantastic setting with panoramic views of Ashdown Forest, the service is first class, worthy of a five star hotel. The spa facilities are excellent, but do book early. A relaxed atmosphere the makes you want to visit again we certainly will.
